What Heals with Lisa Strbac (formerly Raw Health Rebel)
Formerly known as Raw Health Rebel.
What if we’ve misunderstood healing all along?
I’m Lisa Strbac — bestselling author, homeopath, and founder of the Academy of Integrative Homeopathy — and this podcast is where we rethink what truly supports health in the 21st century.
Formerly known as Raw Health Rebel, What Heals is an evolving space for conversations that go deeper — exploring homeopathy, frequency medicine, nervous system repair, detoxification and the healing intelligence of nature.
Some episodes are new. Some are from the archive. All are here to reconnect you with the tools, insights and perspectives that change lives.
Whether you’re supporting a sensitive child, navigating chronic illness or expanding your approach as a practitioner — these conversations meet you where you are.
Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken.
It’s about working with the body’s brilliance.
This is What Heals.

E13 - The Book That Fell Off the Shelf: Ian Watson on Homeopathy’s Hidden Treasures
This episode I’m joined again by the brilliant Ian Watson. Ian is one of those rare teachers who can tilt your view a few degrees and suddenly the whole landscape looks different. We go new places together. From the day a book literally fell off a shelf in Watkins and opened the door to Australian Bush Flower Essences, to the lost Arborivital tinctures of Dr Thomas Cooper that may well have inspired Dr Bach. It’s a tour through forgotten treasure and living practice.
We talk about why simplicity beats overload. What Hahnemann might say about where homeopathy sits today. LM potencies and why higher isn’t always higher. Ferrum phos as the great clarifier when an acute is just brewing. Hawthorn as a classic heart tonic with stories that give you chills. Dowsing, remedy machines, and how on earth any of this works in the first place. And we circle back to why acute prescribing can be the most preventative medicine we have.
Ian is also guest teaching on my new practitioner-level PIHAP course. The link to my new Academy is in the show notes, along with Ian’s books. Settle in for a grounded, generous conversation that moves from hidden corners of homeopathic history to the simple truths that change lives today.
Key takeaways
- Simplicity over overload: depth with polychrests.
- Potencies: LMs designed to minimise aggravations; and “higher” ≠ harsher.
- Ferrum phos: clarifies vague acutes and often resolves the “something’s brewing.”
- Hawthorn (Crataegus) tincture: a time-tested heart ally with jaw-dropping cases.
- Arborivital tinctures & Bach: the living-plant, sunlight-infused lineage.
- Inner authority: insight changes behaviour faster than information.
- Acute prescribing as prevention: treat the spark, avoid the wildfire.
We also talk about
- Vaccine-linked themes showing up unexpectedly in polychrest prescribing
- Why some methods fade (unless a new generation carries the torch)
- Gentle prescribing: reducing aggravations without losing momentum
- Dowsing and machine-made remedies — what works, what to watch
